 The following courses are available on request by emailing training@regentsecurity.com:

• CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - This class teaches de-escalation of situations that typically result in violence. Recommended for all officers. Mandatory for Healthcare Security Officers, Site Commanders, Quality Assurance Officers and Area Managers.
• First Aid / CPR / AED - As of June 2010 all newly hired officers will be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED when they reach 90 days of service.
• Workplace Violence Education & Prevention - This course teaches prevention of Workplace Violence, signs used to identify possible Workplace Violence, techniques to deal with these issues, and gives sample policies. Recommended for all officers, staff, and clients.
• Firearms Training - Classes teach gun safety and maintenance as well as firing techniques, dangers in firing a weapon, types of weapons, and cleaning. Includes range firing and certification where required. Required for officers on all armed posts.
• NRA Refuse To Be A Victim - This course teaches positioning, avoidance, self-defense techniques, and de-escalation techniques to avoid being a victim of violent crimes. Recommended for all officers, staff and clients. 
• General Safety Training - This course teaches safety principles and accident avoidance. It includes discussions on HAZCOM, LockOut/TagOut, Confined Space Entry, PPE, As well as Prevention of Slips, Trips and Falls.
• General Security Training - This course teaches security principles. It includes discussions on layered approaches of security, how electronic security works with security officers, how security can help you, personal protection, security awareness, basics of home and office security, roles of security officers.
• Holiday Security Training - This course teaches security principles and awareness specifically targeted at the peak crime season - Thanksgiving to Christmas.
• Project Management - This course can be customized to teach basics of Project Management from feasibility to final plan.

EXECUTIVE TRAINING ACADEMY

Regent Security's Training Program for our officers exceeds all state required minimums for GA, SC, NC, and AL. In addition to site specific training, all new officers receive over 30 hours of training in the first year of employment with Regent Security. In the first year, all officers receive training in topics such as the following areas:

• First Aid / CPR / AED
• Responding to Incidents and Emergencies
• Customer Service
• Security Principles
• General Safety
• Fire Prevention
• Patrol Techniques
• Deportment and Appearance

All officers receive over 10 hours of training in all subsequent years of employment with Regent Security. We use training programs that are designed for the adult learner, can be conducted with minimal interruption to their home or work lives, and are cost effective.

SUPERVISOR TRAINING

Regent Security's Supervisory Training Program for our Site Commanders and Shift Supervisors is the best in the industry at preparing them to respond to your needs. They receive training on Customer Service, training on administrative functions such as scheduling, training on HR functions such as Diversity training and disciplinary actions, and training on real time emergency response that includes NEMA 100, 200 and 300 level courses for incident response.Our supervisors are prepared to lead your security team through any crisis thast may occur.
